| Summary of their experience I went into this purchase not knowing a thing. Mark has been very helpful throughout the whole process. Any questions I had they were answered extremely fast. I had no problems with communication in any manor. He replys via phone, text, email. He also give you a site you can go to so that you can keep up with the process and he updates it daily and makes comments of what was done. My whole process seemed as if it was a breeze. Question: Can the landlord charge me more because I have a pet?
Answer: Yes. The landlord may charge extra rent and/or a nonrefundable pet fee in exchange for allowingyou to keep a pet in the apartment.
Furthermore, the landlord may charge more for some types or sizes of pets than for others: or, my prohibit pets completely.
Any agreement you have with the landlord about pets should be included in the written lease.

Justin Johnson followed family footsteps into the real estate business. He became interested in the business after interning with a family member for a summer and developed an interest for the industry. Johnson is a native of Winston-Salem and a Cum Laude graduate of Wake Forest University.
